Robert (Bob) Wheatley

Bob Wheatley is the CEO and Managing Partner of the Law Offices of Robert Wheatley. With over 40 attorneys, his firm specializes in protecting the rights of California businesses. Specifically, since 1994, the Law Offices of Robert Wheatley has been specializing in defending all aspects of workers' compensation claims for insurance companies, third party administrators as well as California employers. Mr. Wheatley grew up in Eugene, Oregon where he was a prep all-star basketball player, debater and honor-roll student. He went on to the University of Southern California (USC) and walked on and later earned a scholarship on the USC Men's Varsity Basketball Team. In 1985, the USC Men's Basketball Team won the PAC 10 championship. It was the same year, before the NCAA Tournament, that Mr. Wheatley suffered a career ending back injury. Intent on fulfilling his scholarship commitment and always interested in film, Mr. Wheatley became the video coordinator for the USC Football Team and started his own production company, Wheatley Productions. He also did work for Sports Illustrated and the Los Angeles Clippers. He graduated with honors in English and obtained his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. His father is nationally known trial attorney, William G. Wheatley, Sr. His brother is an attorney as is his sister, Shelley, who is a partner in the firm. Mr. Wheatley is actively involved in numerous philanthropic organizations including the American Red Cross, Easter Seals, Artists for a New South Africa, Orange Lutheran High School, St. John's Church, and the March of Dimes. Additionally, he serves or has served on the Board of Directors of the Hollyrod Foundation, United Way, USC Board of Counselors, Serrano Foundation, and Villa Park Little League. Mr. Wheatley resides in Villa Park, California with his wife Julie and three children.. |
